I like to touch things.

I like the temperature and texture of everyday objects such as woollen socks and cold glass. I transfer these tactile qualities into photographic properties by a sought out choice of colours and grain. My photographic work starts long before taking the actual image by drawing the scenario. I use the camera rather as a tool to realise my vision of a story that unfolds itself under predetermined conditions.
